Amydroptychus markowitzi
Taxonomy
Amydroptychus markowitzi was named by Feldman et al. (2012). Its type specimen is AMNH FI-72405, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arda (=Al Aridah) section, Bed 27, which is in a Callovian marine marl in the Mughanniyya Formation of Jordan.
