Tilemsisuchus lavocati
Taxonomy
Tilemsisuchus lavocati was named by Buffetaut (1980). Its type specimen is MNHN Tgm 500, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Butte de Tamaguilelt (MNHN collection), which is in a Ypresian marginal marine phosphorite in the Tamaguélelt Formation of Mali. It is the type species of Tilemsisuchus.
