Taxonomy
Henicocystis darraghi was named by Jell (1983). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NMVPL229 echinoderms, central Victoria, which is in a Devonian marine sandstone in the Humevale Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Henicocystis.
