Stoyanowites dieneri

Taxonomy
Paratirolites dieneri was named by Stoyanow (1910). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Araxes River canyon, bed 13, which is in a Changhsingian marine marl in the Ali Bashi Formation of Azerbaijan. It is the type species of Stoyanowites.

It was synonymized subjectively with Paratirolites mojsisovicsi by Teichert and Kummel (1973); it was recombined as Stoyanowites dieneri by Korn (2014), Korn and Ghaderi (2016), Korn and Hairapetian (2021).
