Taxonomy
Scenella elevata was named by Cobbold (1921). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ac2, Comley Quarry, which is in a Branchian carbonate limestone in the Lower Comley Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Stenothecoides elevata by Wagner (2023).
