Taxonomy
Pecten (Pseudamusium) lillisi was named by Hertlein (1934). Its type specimen is CAS 6062, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 1874, Crow Creek Road, which is in an Eocene/Oligocene marine diatomite in the Kreyenhagen Formation of California.
It was recombined as Delectopecten lillisi by Moore (1984).
