Taxonomy
Procassidulus echevarriai was named by Sanchez-Roig (1953). Its type specimen is Sanchez Roig Tipo No. 753, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Finca La Ceiba, Jatibonico, which is in an Oligocene carbonate carbonate in Cuba.
