Taxonomy
Paralampas conceptionis was named by Sanchez-Roig (1953). Its type specimen is Sanchez Roig Tipo No. 762, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Finca "La Concepcion", Corral Concepcion, Moron, which is in an Eocene carbonate carbonate in Cuba.
