Pericosmus valenzuelai
Taxonomy
Pericosmus valenzuelai was named by Sanchez-Roig (1953). Its type specimen is Sanchez Roig Tipo No. 775, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Finca "Sunset", carratera de Cayajabos a Artemisa, which is in a Miocene/Miocene carbonate carbonate in Cuba.
It was synonymized subjectively with Pericosmus aguayoi by Kier (1984).
