Linthia alabamensis
Taxonomy
Linthia alabamensis was named by Clark and Twitchell (1915). Its type specimen is USNM 137271, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Loc. 264 - Prairie Creek [Clayton Fm], which is in a Danian marine horizon in the Clayton Formation of Alabama.
It was recombined as Schizaster (Linthia) alabamensis by Cooke (1942).
