Taxonomy
Meekoceras millardense was named by Brayard et al. (2013). Its type specimen is UBGD 275121, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is DV2-0, Dog Valley, Pahvant Range, which is in a Smithian transition zone/lower shoreface limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Utah.
