Taxonomy
Pseudomonotis laczkoi was named by Bittner (1901). It is a mold. Its type locality is Hidegkút, which is in a Triassic marine horizon in Hungary.

It was recombined as Confusionella laczkoi by Hofmann and Hautmann (2013).
