Coroniceras volcanoense
Taxonomy
Coroniceras volcanoense was named by Taylor (1998). Its type specimen is CAS 66698.01, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is New York Canyon, Shoshone Mountains (C. volcanoense horizon), which is in a Bucklandi marine limestone in the Sunrise Formation of Nevada.
