Vermiceras densicostatum

Taxonomy
Vermiceras densicostatum was named by Taylor (1998). Its type specimen is NWMNH 25034, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is New York Canyon, Shoshone Mountains (M. trigonatum assemblage), which is in a Bucklandi marine limestone in the Sunrise Formation of Nevada.
