Alsatites pamlicoensis
Taxonomy
Alsatites pamlicoensis was named by Taylor (1998). Its type specimen is NWMNH 25037, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pamlico, Garfield Hills (assemblage D), which is in a Liasicus marine limestone in the Sunrise Formation of Nevada.
