Koenenites styliophilus
Taxonomy
Manticoceras styliophilum was named by Clarke (1898). Its type specimen is NYSM 3783 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Region of Naples, which is in a Frasnian marine limestone/shale in the Penn Yan Formation of New York.
It was recombined as Koenenites styliophylus by Korn and Klug (2002); it was recombined as Koenenites styliophilus by House and Kirchgasser (2008).
