Taxonomy
Cycloceltites tozeri was named by Taylor and Guex (2002). Its type specimen is NWMNH 25362, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is New York Canyon, section b, bed G46, which is in a Rhaetian marine limestone in the Gabbs Formation of Nevada.
