Megamyonia knighti
Taxonomy
Megamyonia knighti was named by Wang (1949). Its type specimen is S.U.I. 1869., a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Three quarters of a mile southwest of Ossian, which is in a Richmondian carbonate dolomite in the Fort Atkinson Formation of Iowa. It is the type species of Megamyonia.
