Aphanomena planoconvexa

Strophomenata - Strophomenida - Leptostrophiidae

Discussion

Twenhofel (1928) originally named this Rafinesquina ellisensis, but Dewing notes that name included Silurian and Ordovician specimens ranging from the Ellis Bay to Becscie formations. Dewing splits this classification, renaming specimens from the Ellis Bay Formation as Aphanomena.
