Anarcestes plebeius

Taxonomy
Goniatites plebeius was named by Barrande (1865). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Praha-Hlubocepy (upper Trebotov limestone, Dalejan), which is in an Emsian carbonate limestone in the Trebotov Formation of Czechia. It is the type species of Anarcestes.

It was recombined as Anarcestes plebeius by Chlupac and Turek (1983), Göddertz (1987), Korn and Klug (2002).
