Neoglyphioceras caneyanum
Taxonomy
Gastrioceras caneyanum was named by Girty (1909). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 2078 green, McAlester quad, which is in a Brigantian marine shale in the Caney Formation of Oklahoma.
It was recombined as Neoglyphioceras caneyanum by Gordon (1964), Ruzhentsev and Bogoslovskaya (1971).
