Taxonomy
Rhynchonella ordinaria was named by Childs (1969). Its type specimen is BB. 45167 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sermerieu (Mont Dolet), which is in an Oxfordian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in France.
