Pteromya vaurensis
Taxonomy
Pteromya vaurensis was named by Freneix and Cubaynes (1984). Its type specimen is LGMT RBE 25.6, a valve (right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vaour deposit, Quercy, which is in a Planorbis lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/claystone in France.
