Taxonomy

Schachriomonia was named by Nikiforova (1978) [Sepkoski's age data: O u S Ldov-l Sepkoski's reference number: ZR87,965]. It is not extant. Its type is Schachriomonia schachriomonica.

It was assigned to Atrypida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Spirigerininae by Williams et al. (2002).

Synonyms

Zygospira (Kuzgunia) was named by Klenina (1984) [Sepkoski's age data: O m O u Sepkoski's reference number: 881. Misius (1969) originally proposed the name in a PhD thesis, so it should be Misius in Klenina (1984).].

It was synonymized subjectively with Sulcatospira by Williams et al. (2002); it was reranked as Kurzgunia by Sepkoski (2002); it was synonymized subjectively with Schachriomonia by Popov and Cocks (2014).

It was assigned to Zygospira by Klenina (1984); and to Atrypida by Sepkoski (2002).
