Taxonomy
Dalmasiceras orientale was named by Sey and Kalacheva (1999). Its type specimen is CGM 1/12951, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ussuri Bay coast 6, Primorsky, Russia, which is in a Berriasian offshore sandstone in the Chigan Formation of the Russian Federation.
