Paranautilus modestus
Taxonomy
Nautilus modestus was named by von Mojsisovics (1873). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Steinbergkogel, grauem Marmor, which is in a Sevatian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.
It was recombined as Paranautilus modestus by von Mojsisovics (1902) and Schastlivtseva (1988).
