Taxonomy
Dictyoconites dieneri was named by von Mojsisovics (1902). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Röthelstein, upper layer with Trachyceras austriacum, which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Halstatt Formation of Austria.
