Taxonomy
Sinolingularia yini was named by Peng and Shi (2008). Its type locality is Xishan, Yinkeng Formation Bed 14, Suzhou County, which is in a Griesbachian marine limestone/mudstone in the Yinkeng Formation of China.
It was recombined as Lingularia yini by Posenato et al. (2014).
