Unamichthys espinosai
Taxonomy
Unamichthys espinosai was named by Alvarado-Ortega (2004). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Site IGM-2432, Tlayúa Quarry, which is in an Albian/Albian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Tlayúa Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Unamichthys.
