Taxonomy
Burmirhynchia hpalaiensis was named by Buckman (1917). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hpalai (=Hpalaing), which is in a Bathonian carbonate limestone in the Namyau Beds Formation of Myanmar.
