Taxonomy
Monticlarella rectoumbonata was named by Babanova (1966). Its type specimen is Dept. of Geology and Paleontology No 2563/8 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shebetovka, which is in a Callovian carbonate limestone in Ukraine.
