Germanonautilus cassianus

Taxonomy
Temnocheilus cassianus was named by von Mojsisovics (1882). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Stuores meadow near San Cassiano (GBA coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy.

It was recombined as Nautilus cassianus by Kamoun et al. (1994); it was recombined as Germanonautilus cassianus by Urlichs (2000), Nützel and Kaim (2014).
