Taxonomy
Eustrobilus was named by Schrammen (1910) [Sepkoski's age data: K Apti K Camp-u Sepkoski's reference number: 642]. It is not extant. Its type is Eustrobilus callosus.

It was assigned to Lithistida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Acrochordoniinae by Finks et al. (2004).
