Popov et al. 2005Shell subtriangular, almost equally biconvex, about half as thick as long; radial ornament paucicostate, 6–11 ribs originating about 3 mm from the umbo; ventral interior with narrow spondylium supported anteriorly by low median septum; dorsal interior with short brachial processes and septalium supported by a long median septum exceeding 2 mm in adult specimens.
