Taxonomy
Rhynchonella myrina was named by Hall and Whitfield (1877). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Flaming Gorge, Finch Draw, which is in an Oxfordian carbonate limestone/sandstone in the Curtis Formation of Utah.
It was recombined as Kallirhynchia myrina by Crickmay (1933).
