Spinatrypina recula
Taxonomy
Spinatrypina recula was named by Johnson (1970) [= Spinatrypa sp. B. Johnson 1966, p. 168, P1. 25, figs. 29-35.]. Its type specimen is USNM 16285, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM 10802. 9100 feet ESE of Western Peak, Roberts Mountains, which is in an Eifelian marine packstone in the Denay Limestone Formation of Nevada.
