Tatonkacystis codyensis
Taxonomy
Tatonkacystis codyensis was named by Sumrall et al. (1997). Its type specimen is 1796TX1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality CD-1, Snowy Range Formation, Park County, WY - Sumrall et. al 1997, which is in a Franconian marginal marine conglomerate in the Snowy Range Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Tatonkacystis.
