A. Williams 1962 | Dark-brown, elongate, parallel-sided and gently biconvex Lingulella, ventral umbo
obtuse, pedicle valve almost two-thirds as wide as long; ornamentation consisting of fine, crowded, concentric raised lines, about 16 per millimetre antero-medianly, as well as variably spaced concentric growth-ridges; dorsal interior with a well-defined median ridge extending forward for over half the length of the brachial valve and separating a pair of narrow, wedge-shaped, slightly raised areas radiating from the umbo; ventral interior with a low, broad, median ridge extending anteriorly for about one-haft the length of the pedicle valve and united with a pair of reniform raised areas which are disposed normally to the median ridge at about two-fifths of the length of the valve. |
