Williams 1962 | Subrectangular, gently biconvex Orthambonites with rectangular or acute cardinal angles; brachial valve less convex, almost two-thirds as long as wide, ornamentation essentially finely costate consisting of about 38 narrowly rounded costae but associated with a few secondary costellae developed near the median line; ventral muscle-scar short, subcordate, extending anteriorly for about one-fifth the length of the valve. |
