Longvillia norvegica

Strophomena norvegica was named by Spjeldnaes (1957) [= Strophomena asmussi (Verneuil 1845 ) parte Holtedahl 1916 , pp. 51-52, pl. 8, figs. 1-6, non figs. 7-8 and pl. 9, fig. 2.
= cf. Strophomena asmussi (Verneuil 1845) Sokolskaja 1954 pp. 83-85, pl. 5, figs. 1-2, non figs. 3-4.]. Its type specimen is PMO 7117 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bratterud, Lower Chasmops Shale, which is in a Haljala/Keila marine shale in the Arnestad Formation of Norway.
It was recombined as Longvillia norvegica by Candela and Harper (2014).
