A. Williams 1962Strongly concavo-convex Craspedelia with a broad, median, ventral fold and corresponding dorsal sulcus, outline semi-elliptical, mucronate and less than one-half as long as wide, ventrally deflected flange to the shell up to 1 mm. long; surface smooth, socket ridges widely splayed, brachial apparatus subpetaloid, just over one-half of the length of the valve, about three-quarters as long as wide and consisting of a median septum and a pair of submedian, narrowly divergent septa forming the inner boundaries of a pair of strongly elevated, triangular and fimbriated platforms; ventral interior with small unsupported teeth and a strong, long, median ridge, muscle-scars not impressed.
