Taramelliceras (Taramelliceras) tarkowskii was named by Quéreilhac (2009) [Locus typicus : Villiers (Vienne, France), on the road Poitiers-Thouars]. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is BOUM-Q.Ox.50 and is a mold.
