Hesperinia kirki
Taxonomy
Hesperinia kirki was named by Cooper (1956). Its type specimen is USNM 117626a, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Monument Canyon, Ely Springs Range, west of Pioche, which is in a Darriwilian carbonate limestone in the Tank Hill Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Hesperinia.
