A. Williams 1962Subpentagonal, unequally biconvex Catazyga with a medianly subcarinate pedicle valve almost as wide as long and over one-half as deep as wide, and a gently convex brachial valve widely sulcate medianly; ventral umbo strongly incurved, interareas short, about one-half as wide as the maximum width of shell; radial ornamentation essentially finely costate with 3 costae per millimetre at a distance of 7.5 mm. from the umbo; dental lamellae short, ventral muscle-field about two-fifths as long as the pedicle valve and over two-thirds as wide as long; dorsal median septum extending anteriorly for one-half of the length of the brachial valve.
