Taxonomy
Paracucumarites was named by Deflandre-Rigaud (1962) [Sepkoski's age data: J Bath-l K Albi]. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type is Paracucumarites hamptoni.

It was assigned to Calclamnidae by Deflandre-Rigaud (1962), Frizzell and Exline (1966), Górka and Luszczewska (1969); and to Dendrochirotida by Sepkoski (2002).
