Taxonomy
Anatibetites magnus was named by Liang (1977). Its type specimen is NIGP 24142 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is YHW28, Jinding, Lanping County, which is in an Alaunian marine horizon in the Baijizu Formation of China.
