Taxonomy
Lufengospira tulotomoides was named by Yu and Xi (1977). Its type specimen is NIGP 24283, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is YH 5275, Shawan, Lufeng County, which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Upper Lufeng Formation of China.
