Taxonomy
Galba yunnanensis was named by Pan (1977). Its type specimen is NIGP 24306, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is YH 5082, Mimalong, Lufeng County, which is in a Bajocian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Zhanghe Formation of China.
