Kitchinites vicentensis
Taxonomy
Kitchinites vicentensis was named by Salazar et al. (2010). Its type specimen is CPUC/Q/SV/1449, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is San Vicente (locality SV, yellow sandstone beds), which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the Quiriquina Formation of Chile.
