Kopalina perplexa
Taxonomy
Kopalina perplexa was named by Nikitina et al. (2006). Its type specimen is USNM 485084, a valve (dorsal valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality 126. Section II. Eastern side of the Kopalysai valley, which is in an Abereiddian carbonate limestone in the Uzunbulak Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Kopalina.
